MODECOR RETURNS TO PRE-COVID LEVELS IN THIS FIRST HALF-YEAR

The complicated economic context that characterized the first half of the year has not obstructed the competitive ability of Modecor, which thanks to targeted investments reached pre-Covid levels in July.

 “With all the companies of the group in decoration, we have implemented a positive strategy in the interest of our customers – declares Giuliano Tosi, BU Director Decoration & Ingredients of the group Casa Optima: “In recent months we haven’t considered containing costs, on the contrary, we have invested to be present, continuing to find high quality raw materials, and managing the difficulties of supply-chain disruptions in the markets.
Furthermore, our sales team has been very efficient and incisive in covering the market whilst continuing to play a fundamental role, both towards customers and the company, providing information and ideas to adapt our commercial strategy to a constantly changing context.” 

Actions on the product have been numerous and targeted: the companies have continued to launch new products in preparation for the spring campaigns, focusing on the business of weddings, holy communions, and confirmations, as well as preparing rich novelties for decorating desserts and pastries for the winter period and Christmas in particular. 

Marketing investments include the ‘Licenses’, an area in which Modecor is a pioneer in the sector: “After the success of brands like High School Musical, Frozen, Peppa Pig, Masha and the bear, and Paw Patrol, we are preparing to launch Cocomelon, an extremely popular brand on YouTube, and Minions, of which the second film will be released shortly, loved by all”, “says  Alessandra Sberna, Marketing Manager Modecor.

Additionally, by moving in a timely manner, Modecor has for several months been offering its clients azofree products (without titanium dioxide E171, as required by the law), which thanks to the company’s historical know how in Research & Development, guarantees the quality standards of the products.
