The first edition of Campus Optimi, Casa Optima’s new continuous management training program dedicated to key figures in the organization, closed brilliantly with the official awarding of diplomas. We asked Mario Morelli – Group HR Director, to evaluate this initiative and to tell us about future plans.
The Campus Optimi 2023 program draws to a close. What is the outcome of this first edition?
I would say it has had a very positive outcome, which has ended with the awarding of diplomas to all 28 participants. During these months, we have tackled key topics such as role and team management; we discussed how to interact better between the various functions, and we also delved into the topic of leadership, a fundamental aspect for supporting colleagues during phases of change in the organization.
The workshops were also very operational dedicated to day-to-day issues such as time management: to improve methods, organize priorities, and plan etc.
What are its objectives and what results have been achieved?
Casa Optima has always focused on the enhancement of skills, quality of work and internal career opportunities. Campus Optimi is a course created to spread a cutting-edge managerial culture, appropriate to the company’s objectives, and to encourage the growth of the skills necessary for the challenges of the global market in which we have been operating for years.
The main result of this first edition can be summed up in the word ‘Awareness’: the participants have acquired the tools they need to deal with problem-solving, how manage the work teams, and at the same time, they have developed a broader vsion of their presence within the organization.
What was the feedback from the participants?
We have involved people from all over Italy who participated with great pleasure, putting themselves forward with a positive and motivated attitude towards the group activity, aware that they are part of a project tailor- made for them, to boost their role.
Why are these initiatives important for the companies in the group?
They are important to create and develop a group company culture and to support growth with common vision and tools.
Will there be a new edition in 2024? If so, with what new features?
We will certainly continue in 2024, starting in the second half of the year, but with two operating methods: on the one hand, we will give continuity to the 2023 work group, with in-depth workshops to verify the use of the tools and methods acquired. On the other hand, with a new edition and a new work group, to increase the number of people involved and to give them the opportunity to understand these tools, so that they can contribute towards professional development within the company.
